Overlook House/Upward Wing Visiting Christian Science nursing service hosted its annual meeting at Don’s Pomeroy House Restaurant in Strongsville, Ohio.
It was for all those interested in learning more about the role that Christian Science nursing plays in our healing movement.
The main focus of the meeting was a workshop entitled, “Our Healing Ministry: A Sacred Trust” developed and led by Christine Hein, Director of Christian Science Nursing at Tenacre in Princeton, New Jersey. Inspiring and encouraging ideas were shared by this group as each member expressed his/her love for Christian Science nursing by considering together the many ways we can foster and protect this healing ministry.
Following the meeting attendees enjoyed a complimentary luncheon sponsored by our friends at Don’s Pomeroy House.

What I liked most about the event was the workshop style — working together in small groups and then sharing together in the larger group.
And the gratitude expressed.

What I liked most about this event was the opportunity to share and receive so many inspiring and helpful healing ideas pertaining to the Christian science nursing ministry. I will certainly be praying with these ideas and furthering my own study of Christine’s assignment.
